Kevin originates from Buxton, Derbyshire in the Peak District. Fr Kevin spent 2 years missionary serving in Egypt planting hope and growing small prayer groups. After returning to England for a short while, Fr Ratcliffe was raised to Honorary Canon and empowered to start missionary serving in China. He spent a number of years serving in Shanghai before returning to the UK, where he serves in the Greater Manchester area.

Canon Ratcliffe now works in the Higher Education Sector in the secular and is on the St Catherine's Seminary working group.
