Val serves at St Michaels, Bournemouth. Raised to Cleric at St Michaels, Bournemouth, Doorkeeper at All Souls London and Reader at St Pauls, Crewe, and Exorcist at St Michaels, Acolyte at Chester. Val's emphasis is on the pastoral: she is a hospital visitor; a volunteer at Hospital Radio Bedside which is the local closed circuit hospital radio station, and she serves as a support volunteer for the Dunkirk Veterans. Val often attends the repatriation of fallen service personnel formerly at Wooton Bassett, but now at Carterton, Brize Norton. She regularly leads worship at an old folks home and  assists with OCAC events up and down the land.
