Chris Wood Homeless Support ChaplainRevd. Chris is dedicated to providing exceptional support in pastoral and spiritual care, with a focus on Sports, Faith, and Youth Ministry. His commitment to nurturing the spiritual growth of individuals and shines through in every interaction. With a compassionate approach, he seeks to inspire and empower young people, fostering a strong connection between their faith and daily lives. Chris encourages all to explore the transformative power of faith within the realm of sports and youth engagement.

Chris discovered his vocation for the Church in 1999 while serving at Her Majesty's Pleasure at HMP Reading, where he trained to become an Anglican Priest within the Church of England. After some time, Chris decided for personal faith reasons, to step back from the Church of England. During this period, he found himself managing teams in the sport he loves—football. Additionally, Chris is a fully trained chef and has worked in several well-established establishments within Wiltshire. In 2005, Chris discovered his faith within the Old Catholic Tradition after meeting Father Paris Haines through the football community.

Today, Chris serves the community through the Church and is undergoing full training to become the Mission Priest within the next two years. Currently, Chris is actively involved in Homeless Support, Sports and Faith, and Youth Ministry.
