Robert
is a street pastor working with and alongside those on the streets in
Lancashire including Bolton, Blackpool, Preston, Liverpool and parts of
Manchester. He joined us by incardination in 2023 to further his
work and outreach. A former soldier, Robert has experienced in his own
life some of the issues facing those living on the street as well as
some health complications. He has experienced homelessness himself in
the past.
Trained vocationally at Bolton College and theologically by the
Christian Leaders Institute, he served as a lay preacher in the
Methodist church from 1995 before embarking on his street chaplaincy
outreach in 1999. Robert joined OCAC in 2022 and since then has
developed a ministry of helping overseas pastors with Bible Studies and
pastoring skills so they can serve in their own communities.

In
this picture (right), Robert is centre of the rear row in the beret. It is a
BLESMA (Limbless veterans) group picture at the Military Preparation
College in Chorley where they were sharing their military experiences
with the students. Fr. Robert represents the Old CatholicApostolic Church as a military Padre.

Rob is a street pastor who regularly prays for and assists those who live or find themselves on the street or are homeless.
